01 / YOUR QUESTIONS

Projects & pricing

Find the right starting point for your business.

What types of video projects does Lana Oliver Productions handle?

We create brand films, testimonials, mediation films, recruitment videos, training content, advertising, video podcasts, and ongoing content campaigns for businesses and professional organizations. We also design and build websites with original photography, video, and copy. Our production work focuses on commercial projects; we do not provide wedding videography, personal-event coverage, or small one-off social clips.

How much does professional video production cost?

Smaller video projects typically range from $1,500 to $3,000. Larger campaigns generally range from $5,000 to $20,000, depending on locations, shoot days, equipment requirements, crew size, and deliverables. After learning about your goals, we will provide a clear, customized estimate.

How long does a video project take?

For general video projects, smaller edits typically take 3–5 business days and larger projects generally take 5–7 business days after filming is complete and we have all required materials. Your proposal confirms the schedule for your scope. Podcast packages, website projects, and larger campaigns have their own timelines. Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee, depending on the production schedule.

Where do you provide video production services?

We are based in Baton Rouge and serve clients throughout Louisiana and the Gulf South. We also travel for projects outside the region, with applicable travel expenses included in the estimate.

02 / YOUR QUESTIONS

Planning & booking

Know what happens before the cameras arrive.

What does your pre-production process include?

We help define the goal, audience, concept, and production plan. Depending on the project, that includes scripting, interview questions, storyboards, scheduling, locations, and shot lists. Bring a finished concept or simply tell us what your audience needs to understand.

How far in advance should we book, and what reserves our date?

We recommend contacting us 2–4 weeks before your preferred filming date. Larger campaigns, multi-location productions, and projects involving specialized crews or equipment should generally be scheduled 4–6 weeks in advance. Your date is reserved once the proposal is approved and the 50% deposit is received. Short-notice projects may still be possible depending on availability.

What do you need from us before filming?

We will guide you through the creative and planning process. Clients are responsible for providing requested materials, confirming participant availability, arranging location access, and securing necessary permissions or releases. Depending on the project, we may also need scripts, talking points, logos, brand assets, legal disclaimers, products, or archival footage. Delays in receiving materials or approvals may affect the production and delivery schedule.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling a production date. New dates are subject to crew and production availability. Deposits are nonrefundable once pre-production or other project work has begun, and late cancellations may result in forfeiture of the deposit or additional charges. When weather, emergencies, or unsafe conditions prevent filming, we will work with you to reschedule without penalty.

03 / YOUR QUESTIONS

Studio & podcast production

Record in Baton Rouge or plan a session on location.

What can you produce in your Baton Rouge studio?

Our full-service studio supports individual and multi-person video podcasts, executive and customer interviews, teleprompter presentations, voiceover recording, green-screen productions, and custom-background setups. Podcast productions comfortably support up to four on-camera participants. The studio is located at 5841 South Sherwood Forest Boulevard in Baton Rouge and is available by appointment as part of an LOP production service. It is not a self-service rental and is not rented to outside crews.

What is your mobile production and podcast service?

Our production van transports the cameras, lighting, audio, and support equipment needed to bring a professional studio-style setup to your office, facility, event venue, or other approved location. The recording does not take place inside the van. Mobile podcast productions can support up to four on-camera participants when the location provides sufficient space, power, and appropriate sound conditions.

What is included in the Podcast Content Sprint?

The sprint includes strategy and up to one 60-minute recording session for a solo speaker or one host and one guest. Deliverables include an edited horizontal 1080-HD episode, MP3 audio, a thumbnail, SRT captions, a transcript, five captioned vertical clips, three post-ready photos, curated vertical B-roll selects, a blog draft, an email draft, and social-copy recommendations. On-location recording, additional speakers, publishing, and expanded campaign work are separately scoped.

Do you offer product videography and product photography?

Product videography and product photography are available as studio-based add-ons to a broader commercial video project or ongoing campaign. We do not offer standalone product photography or standalone product-video sessions. On-location product work may be evaluated case by case.

04 / YOUR QUESTIONS

On the filming day

Preparation and support for people and places.

What if I am uncomfortable being on camera?

Most of the people we film are not professional actors, and they do not need to be. We create a relaxed atmosphere where you can feel comfortable and be yourself. We provide coaching, use conversational interview techniques, and can supply a teleprompter, script, or talking points when needed. We also provide a written wardrobe guide before applicable shoots.

Can you help with actors, voiceovers, wardrobe, or hair and makeup?

LOP can source and screen actors, presenters, models, and professional voiceover talent, then provide the client with options for final approval. Talent availability, usage rights, licensing, travel, and agency fees are quoted separately. We provide wardrobe guidance. Hair and makeup are not offered in-house, but we can help coordinate an outside professional when requested, with availability and fees quoted separately.

Can you film at active workplaces or multiple locations?

Yes. We regularly work at construction sites, industrial facilities, medical offices, and other controlled environments, as well as multi-location productions. We coordinate with the client to understand operating schedules, access rules, privacy requirements, safety procedures, and restricted areas. Clients should notify us in advance of required orientations, credentials, protective equipment, clearances, or filming limitations.

Do you provide drone video and photography?

Yes. We offer professional aerial video and photography where permitted. Drone operations are conducted by FAA-certified pilots and remain subject to weather, airspace authorization, property access, site restrictions, and safe operating conditions. If conditions prevent a safe flight, we will coordinate another suitable time.

05 / YOUR QUESTIONS

Editing & delivery

Turn the footage into the versions you need.

Can we hire LOP for filming only or editing only?

Yes. We can provide production-only services with organized footage delivery or handle post-production using footage you already have. Editing-only projects depend on the quality, organization, format, and availability of the supplied media. Extensive sorting, recovery, conversion, or repair may require an additional fee.

What does post-production include?

Standard post-production can include editing, color work, dialogue cleanup, audio balancing, licensed music, basic sound design, captions, branded titles, lower thirds, and simple motion graphics when included in the scope. Advanced animation, visual effects, original music, extensive audio restoration, or specialized mixing are separate services and may require separately quoted specialists.

How many revisions are included?

General video projects include two rounds of consolidated revisions. Service-specific packages may have different revision terms, so your proposal confirms what is included. Additional rounds or changes outside the approved scope are quoted separately.

Can you deliver different formats and versions?

Yes. Depending on the project scope, we can provide horizontal, vertical, and square versions, shorter edits, social-media cutdowns, captions, and platform-specific exports. Deliverables are provided through a secure digital link in MP4 or other agreed formats after full payment. Because every version affects production and editing scope, requested deliverables should be identified during the estimate process.

06 / YOUR QUESTIONS

Files, payments & privacy

Practical details to review before your project begins.

Who owns the video footage and project files?

For video-production projects, clients receive usage rights to the approved final deliverables. Lana Oliver Productions retains raw footage and editable project files unless the project agreement says otherwise. Transfers can be arranged for an additional fee. Website ownership follows the separate website-service terms.

How does licensed music work?

Licensed music is included when specified in the project scope. The license applies to the completed video and does not allow the music track to be extracted, reused independently, or transferred to another project. Broadcast, paid advertising, and other specialized uses may require additional licensing.

How long do you retain footage and project files?

We generally retain project files and raw footage for 12 months after final delivery. Long-term storage is not guaranteed unless an archive arrangement is included in the project agreement. Retrieving or restoring archived material may involve an additional fee.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept the payment methods available through our HubSpot quotes and invoices. Transaction or processing fees associated with the selected payment method are passed through to the client and disclosed before payment. The remaining project balance is due according to the payment schedule in the proposal, and final deliverables are released after full payment.

How do you handle confidential projects?

We understand that productions may involve sensitive legal matters, patients, private locations, or unreleased company information. We can work under a nondisclosure agreement, follow site-specific privacy and security requirements, and limit how footage is accessed or shared. Confidential work will not be featured in our portfolio without permission.

Do you offer ongoing video campaigns or retainers?

Yes. We offer custom monthly and quarterly production plans for businesses that need consistent video content.
